All insurances are gay, if you're tryin to buy, they are tryin to sell. Then when you get into the actual insurance, they tell you completely different crap. Then when something goes wrong, you gotta deal with them again, cuz they are tryin to use the cheapest method possible to resolve your case, and then your premium goes up. Worst **** ever. Don't forget having your policy # and repeating it 5 times in different phone calls to get transferred around. Good luck with that crap.

yea... last Aug my car was broken into and it wasnt fixed till DEC!! i was pissed....

this time with the tire hitting my car. Body shop quoted it at over $1600. I got the police report and faxed it into my insurace. Called teh next day to make sure they got it, no answer so i left a message. Called the next day after that and still no answer so i left another message. Today i call again and FINALY get in touch with her.

Shes like ok well we will send a check to the body shop and u will owe them $100 for your deductable. Im like why am i goin to pay anything when the truck drivers insurance should pay. she responds "OHHH you want to try and get them to pay" are you ****ing kidding me! why would i pay when it wasnt my fault!

i hear Farmers is the best auto. That's from my friends at Preferred Auto Body in Fairfield. They deal with insurance co. all the time.

Allstate sucks... they try to use all used or after market stuff. Not OE

getting more back than owing. still not as much as last year, by a factor of about 10x.

regarding insurance, see if you can get with USAA. excellent service, good rates, never treated me wrong.

insurance companies vary from individual to individual. If you know the insurance guy, they'll probably help you out. If you wreck, the insurance will try to screw you over like how Mercury Insurance did with me. Insurance is horrible, especially car insurance, but what can ya do, you need it.

I have Mercury as well.... the first time i needed them, terrible service... so far this time has been better but not great.

But as far as my opinon on it goes..... for how often i actually need/use my insurance compaired to what i pay.............. ill stick with em cuz its cheap.

Ive got full coverage and only pay $116 a month. For only being 21 and driving a wrx is pretty damn good i think.

Ive called two other companies and they couldnt even come close to what im already paying.
