miles per tank

I'm guessing that all subaru gas tanks are the same size.
This last tank of mine I tried so darn hard to get 400 miles on one tank.
But then i cought myself driving hard every once in a while. There really is no way of granny driving turbo cars.

This last time I got 360 before I filled up probably could have gotten more if I went all the way to empty.... so maybe i would have made 400.

Just curious if anyone else has even tried to get a lot out of their fuel. I know it really is tough to drive at a decent rate of speed and acceleration in these cars.

I consider it a good tank if I get 200 miles before I have to fill it up.

FWIW, I uaually put between 12-14 gallons in at each fill up...

Haha, that's so true, I've also tried saving gas, but there's just something about having the turbo powah available that keeps me from getting very good mileage...

360? 400?

Damn, I'm lucky if I get 300 per tank (usually 12-14 gallons when I fill up). Its usually around 270-280 though.

Yeah I get around 300/tank, but that's almost 100% street racing miles down Sunrise.

I used to get 400+ when I was doing all highway miles. Then I got the up/downpipe and wider tires and now I'm lucky if I get 360.

240-260miles per tank. 270 and I'm getting ready to call the wife on the cell for in-fight fuelling.

I killed it on a slow left hander once and it hesitated over an overpass.

get about 250-300 wish it was more...24-26 mpg isn't all that great for a N/A 4cyl.

but at least my new job has me commuting only 14 miles to work vs. the 65 + travel of the last place.

I got 304.7 miles on 12.7 gals. with AC on and lots of romping in traffic to the bay. That was sweet. In Reno I couldn't do 275 a tank. I love this lower altitude thing.
