MFactory Close ratio first impressions.

Absolutely great for stop and go Sacramento traffic!!

It doesn't even really matter what gear you are in! 1st through 4th - they all kinda do the same thing..

But in all seriousness.. .I'm only running on wastegate pressure and the car feels pretty peppy.. I have a feeling they will be very fun - but very - VERY short..

But hearing the car rip the gears off so quickly sure makes it sound fast!

Oh and speaking of sound.. With an aluminum flywheel.. 6 puck clutch.. Group N mount.. beefy pitchstop.. beefy trans crossmember bushings... and solid aluminum carrier bushings.. You definitely "hear" the gears.. Ill put a db meter on them later today outta curiosity -but they are quite loud.

forgot.. Hah I recorded this the first time I took it around the block.. Video is just for sound really.. And this is just crawling around the neighborhood..

Ignore the CEL - the boost control solenoid is unplugged and I just haven't disabled the code yet.

What are the ratios?

nevermind, looked them up. They look to be taller (or shorter? larger numbers) than the JDM RA spec gears. What are your RPM's at 70mph?

Shorter than the RA gears..

I am only running 1-4th with an OEM 5th for commuting. 3.9 final.

4th @ 70 is about 4500 rpm's..

If you had the MFactory 5th it'd be about 3500 @ 70
