Since you also asked about Sac area dealerships, I'll give you my $.02
I bought my STi and LGT from Autowest. Buying the STi was a pain in the butt due to the sales managers and salespeople who treated me like I was dumb. I played the game though and walked away with the car I wanted on my terms. Shortly after that experience, an SRiC member started working in the fleet sales department. He hooked many of us up with great deals, including the one for my LGT. He is now gone, and I doubt anyone else at that dealership would take care of us the way Eric did.
I have no personal dealings with Maita so I can't help you there.
But I did buy my Titan from Shingle Springs Nissan-Subaru and had a wonderful experience. I emailed their fleet sales guy and negotiated a killer deal on my Titan. His name is Aaron and I would highly recommend him for any Nissan or Subaru purchase. It really is worth the drive up there if they have (or can get) what you're looking for.

I've heard shingle springs is really good. Personally, with our guy being gone from Autowest and us not knowing anyone there, and the experiences I've had at Maita, both buying and in the service dept, I'lll never go there again unless I'm forced.

Bought my WRX from Autowest, they really gyped me on the financing, but I was going to refinance it with someone else anyways. They were quick about it, and they did give me a good deal on my trade-in. I only talked to the internet sales guy though, the other sales guys were kinda dorks and pushy as usual. I go to Shingle Springs for all of my parts needs though, kewl people there.

my family bought a lot of cars from Shingle-Springs.. and the STi I bought from Autowest was my first car that I did'nt get from Shingle Springs, and that was because Eric was working at Autowest at the time.
When I plan on getting the LGT, I will be headding up the hill for sure

i drive by Shingle Springs every day.
i have never bought anything from them but have gone there a time or two to see what they've had.
once they even threw me the keys to a 02/03 bugeye 2.5TS wagon for me to test drive.
they didn't even come along.
it was cheap and they wanted to deal, but i found out why...it had 80K+ miles on it and i could tell the front end had been in a wreck and had been thrown back together poorly.
they were asking $12k, and i was walking cos of the condition.
the GM asked if there was any deal he could make to get my business, i told him if he let me have it for $8K oout-the-door i'd consider it.
he actually looked like he was gonna say yes, then i told him that i really didn't want it cus of the previous damage. he agreed and said he was going to look into the bodywork and frame damage. (i don't know if they ever did.)
a day later i went to see Autowest, but they were low on stock on used.
and when leaving i saw a beauty, 01 silver/Ti OBS wagon w/ 35K miles on it, parked front row at Saturn of Roseville. by that night i had the keys.

don't you find it odd that they're just fine w/ letting you jump in and bring it back whenever?
i took the TS wagon on a trip down french creek rd to s. shingle rd then back to the dealer.
my sales guy was super friendly also and the GM was very personable.
and i got the impression the GM was being "real" with me rather than the fake dealership persona you normally get.

I am also a shingle springs customer.... and Aaron is the guy that helped me out.... ended up getting the leggy for $200 over invoice from him. Really cool up there... Parts department has been fine.... cept I have heard some things...
I traded my 99 OBS in to them and they gave me a whole lot more for it then maita was willing to.
I remember before i was even subaru shopping I test drove a nissan sentra from them, and they let my dad and I take it up to learn how to drive a stick on it.... never thought a dealership would do that... very cool up there.
