Why do the old 70s-80s starwars movies look so much better than the newer ones? I finally saw part of episode 2 the other day and it was so damn lame and cheesy I couldn't watch very much of it. Not only is it cheesy, but for some reason it just doesn't "look" as good as the original. Where the original would have elaborately constructed sets that look real, the newer episodes have blue screen shots with digitally created rooms that the characters are placed in. Just doesn't look as good. Even the backgrouns in the pictures above like the last pic look awesome!

unless you have some insane CGI people, physical things look much better on camera than the cartoonish computer stuff. Its like looking at Terminator 3 when it showed the future war, it was all CGI and looked very cheesey. I loved James Cameron's Terminator 2 where they used physical props... it looked so much better. I want a Terminator movie based on nothing but the future war against the Machines... my favorite part to the whole Terminator Trilogy is the opening to Terminator 2....

I sense a great disturbance in the force. The Ninja Turtles must be destroyed!~

Although, the Brittany and Madonna chop is a nice touch.
