Lamborghini Diablo spotted. Anyone seen this?

Today I was driving down HWY 50 to school (sac state) around 9:30 and this BRAND NEW looking lambo diablo pulls up next to me and cruises past. The license plate card said Lamborghine Beverly Hills. The thing was HOT looking. The color was kinda wierd... some purple color with a lighter purple wavy stripe down the side, but the car was perfect overall. He got in front of me and I cruised behind him then aside him again for a few miles before he got off at Bradshaw I think..?? I was telling a friend at work about the car and he said he'd seen it once or twice at Starbucks in El Dorado Hills (we work in EDH).

Anyone seen this thing?

All I saw was the diablo logo on the back left side. If I saw a pic, I could ID it though. I drove with it for a while.

Look like this?

I don't think SV's came with lighter stripes, but there's a special edition commemorating the PB cocours as well, looking for pics now........

Hmm. Got a rear pic? Different wheels, quad exhaust tips, but yeah... I think that's it. I'm pretty certain the stripes were lighter.

That's a Japanese car with a different exhaust, they're normally quad-tips, and there's a million different wheels available. Haven't seen one running around up here, but stranger things have happened.

I used to see crazy stuff running around in SC and the areas, there's Lambo tuners in Gilroy, ferrari and vintage porsche dealers in SC, Canepa legalizing 959's, frickin' 962C's in dealership windows.....

if you ever feel like getting the "Hollywood" feel in the Sac area...
go drive in the parkinglot of the Masque in EDH..
it's in the new shopping center they just finished to the left of Raley's...
the one that looks like a French villa...

wife & i went cruzing thru on a friday night and there was all these hootie-tootie folks up in there..
they have valet parking out front & they park all the high dollar cars in the circle.
so when we went through there was a M-Benz SL coupe, a Lambo, a 360 & red Ferrari 550. all parked out front...
that's just the "sports cars" there was so many MB/BMW/Audi cars in the lot...
i doubt there were any under $50K in the entire lot...
almost sureal...
especially for El Dorado Hills!
and there was tons of mid 50's guys w/ 20 y/o arm-candy all out front...

i'm amazed there's that much money in EDH to support a ritzy place like that!!!
still blown away by the 550...
i was droolin' HARD!

I should try to floss the legacy up there, and laugh that my car costs like 2% of any car in that lot, ha!~

Yeah... this place makes me pretty sick nowadays. I watched it go down hill during the high school days in El Dorado Hills when most of the people who live here now were still in the bay area and probably couldn't even spell El Dorado Hills... It used to be a typical foothills town with a few nicer houses springing up, and now it is the wannabe posh locale for the wannabe elite. How the **** this happened in the last 3-7 years I could not tell you. I think it's Serrano's fault (the wannabe posh community filled with mostly overpriced trackhomes). I can't stand driving through even to go visit friends. At least my parents made a killing on their house that they bought years back before EDH was the circus it is now.

BTW: I seriously have no idea where all these fake rich people come from. Sure, anyone can get a mortgage on an overpriced trackhome in a gated community with a fancy name. Same goes for the mercedes in the parking lot. But what kind of jobs do these people seriously have that pull in anything more then modest money? Sacramento isn't an overly wealthy area.

Intel probably helped a bit. And I know of a few people (including Egan) that commute all the way to the Bay Area to work. Telecommuting and regular commuting.

The prefer the 'small town living' that the foothills offer.

I don't know how much Intel has to do with the EDH phenomenon. Intel has mostly laid people off over the last several years. And although the father of one of my friends (whose parents happen to live in serrano) is a high exec at Intel, they don't have ridiculous money or anything and certainly don't attempt to flaunt it like most around the area.

Anyways, Intel has been in Folsom a lot longer than the yuppie wannabe's have been in EDH... so there has to be something else. The theory of commuting to the bay area is a good one.

I do not commute to the Bay Area by choice.

And I do not live in El Dorado Hills.

lots of people sell their bay area 2bedroom 2 bath shacks for big bucks then move out here. Plop down half of your money on a brand new house and buy toys with the rest.
