The Gods have smiled upon us... the sun and the stars have aligned... destiny's wish has come to present itself... and Kirkwood is opening to the glory of all on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So should I buy my seaon pass now, or just go up and play in the snow?

I'm hearing that KWood already recieved 3 to 4 feet in places...that first storm had a ton of moisture in it... My sister went to Boreal today and said the coverage was surprisingly okay...Earliest start I can remember....

Yeah, this is REALLY early. Last year was pretty early too... I have pics of my car with snow dumping all around last November, but this is early.

How much is a season pass at Kirkwood? How much at Mt. Rose for that matter (where I'm much more easily able to go)?

Rode is like 249 if you hurry...then it goes up...

The best deal is the Northstar/ Sierra@Tahoe Combo...299 I think 2 resorts...

In crappy weather, how long does it take to get from Reno to Northstar/Sierra@tahoe? Or to Mt Rose for that matter?

From our house...it's about even...45 minutes if clear, 1hour+ depending on roads...

Isn't there just 2 lifts open at kirkwood and 1 at Boreal? Wonder how the wait will be at the lifts.
