Ft. Leonardwood is Army right.
21bravo, what is that?
I am in the Navy and I am about to go to Kuwait. (5th deployment in 6 years).
good luck and remember, play the game and you will go far.

Combat engineer. Infantry is 11 series. Or as I like to call it "Paul type, 1 ea"
So where do you report next? AIT, unit? My advice to you is to keep doing PT over your leave time as you'll most likely have an APFT during the in-processing phase of wherever you’re headed next. The physical aspect only gets harder, especially considering engineers can have it bad in the suck dept. Don't want to report with anything below a 270 at your unit/AIT unit. Shoot for 300+. Good luck and thanks for serving. Sapper school should be fun should you go... they just recently authorized the tab IIRC.

AHh i knew there was a 1 in it LOL, my friend is in infantry and he said if he could do it again he wouldn't go infantry... he said it's badass in iraq, but the problem is he can't really do anythign with it once he gets out of the army besides SWAT, which is probably gunna go to LAPD Swat once he gets out, he got accepted to ranger school once his tour in iraq is over, but he just got extended for 6 more months(stupid *** bush)... He is desginated marksman for his brigade...
he said pre-ranger is no joke, you get to do hundreds of push ups in gravel where your hands are bleeding.... They basically just go ***** out trying to get you to quit and if you survive, congrats you qualify for ranger, but nearly everyone quits within the first week i guess
He is also thinking about joining blackwater, but I am pushing him against that

I had one course (Jumpmaster) and get postponed for the lack of planes because they were on deployment and another school due to insufficient class sizes because of OEF deployments. Everything worked out. Your friend will be fine.
