I've heard a ton about them, from WRX and VW owners, all with positive reviews. This better be the last set or I will be sorely pissed and severly broke!

I need an oil change, so I stopped by AutoWest today to see what they charge, it's something like $30 for a change with standard oil, not a bad deal. So I ask what it would be with synthetic, it's $90, that's ****ing ridiculous!
So I picked up two OEM filters and crush washers for the oil plug and will do it myself. Question: Does the rounded side of the washer go towards the oil pan or away?

the electrical work in my kitchen is almost done and ready for inspection. the master bathroom has no vanity in it currently and the wall is ripped appart to add another sink hookup. the guest bathroom has the new vanity in and a temporary sink setup.
things are going quite a bit ahead of schedule and i'm very happy about that. according to the contractors schedule, they're about a week ahead of schedule. we haven't found any drywall problems after removing the old cabinets and vanities, and the electrical work didn't go beyond the scope they bid, and those were my 2 biggest concerns about extra cost.

that's rare.
are you having Expo do all the subwork?
if so, that's impressive for a Home Depot company.
