My dad used to race a 122S sedan in the late 60's. Almost that color, too. Believe me, I have nothing but respect and love for old Volvos, but thanks for trying. Putting a Supra motor and 6-speed in one and rebuilding/tube-framing the chassis to handle the power and work on a track, and doing it that cleanly on a body that looks stock, is to be commended and appreciated.

Oh you got me all wrong. I appreciate the work and craftsmanship that he put into the car, but you don't need to drop it to the ground. I like a car that looks clean on the inside as well. If he's going to race it, why such a nice paint job? IDK, I'd save my money to replace the brakes and what not and have kept the stock paint. unless it was rusty.
Then I'd just use some Rustoleum and Krylon.
