I think that I may have been ratted out
WHO CALLED MY I.T. DEPARTMENT??? I got an email this morning saying that an outside caller called in on Friday, while I was out, and told them that I was constantly on the internet...
lol, jk. I returned to work this morning only to find out that I couldn't get onto the internet. I checked the LAN settings in the options and found that the LAN address had been changed to the restrictive address, meaning I no longer have full access. Nothing was said to me, I found out on my own.
Here's a little story, I'll sum it up so it goes quick. Pretty much a friend of mine, who works out in the small office where I am located, got caught lying to one of our adjusters and now there is a $15k overpayment to an injured worker. Pretty much, the guy is lazy and all the adjusters that he assists are fed up with him. But I guess our supervisor came into our office on Friday, while I was out, and pulled him into the office of the Supervisor for our Roseville office. Pretty much he was getting reemed, and I think that he may have said that he had full access to the internet and that I had it too. I think he was trying to drag me down with him or something. Pretty much, I am not sure of his situation, there is a good chance that he will be moved back to the other office in Rancho, or terminated. The accounts that he works on really don't want him on the account anymore.
So all in all, I won't be posting throughout the day anymore , lucky you guys.I do have the correct address to give me full access to the internet, but I think that I will wait a few weeks to change it back after things cool off.
If you guys would like to chat with me or need to ask a question, shoot me an email at: Rastle@cmi-mba.com

Wow that sucks big time. I'm my own boss and I've been thinking about restricting my own access, but I convinced myself that it helps me...................man I need a vacation.
Anyway, if he truly is a friend and dragged you down with him, he should allow the obligatory, friendly swift kick in the nuts.
