Thanks for your help, guys. We're going to hit the cingular store tomorrow night. We met up with a guy there last month who was very helpful so we'll also take his input. Right now though, I think we're going to go with the Blackberry, either the Pearl or the Curve. But I could be completely wrong - I told her I would solicit the opinion of my local SRIC brethren as you guys know your stuff when it comes to phones, but in the end, it will be what she is most happy with.
Thanks

Haha, I learned on R9 (all text input) in college and then used R12 and R13 in my first work years. I had R14 all setup with custom menus and macros for when I was doing process piping design. Now I use 2006 when I need to do any design work on my projects.

i learned on r10 in high school, used r12 in college. i used r14 at a student job for a few years. at raytheon we had 2002lt and then went to 2006lt which i really liked. now at siemens we have r14 or 2000i (which is like a bastard child), so most peeps use r14.
i tried to do a detailed mechanical drawing on cad a few months ago just to see if i remembered how... was much suck. pro/e has a *****in feature called "show dimensions" followed by "clean dimensions" which attempts to locate and space them logically per ANSI guidelines. center lines, hidden lines, phantom lines, etc... are all just a mouse click away. most drafting work takes like 10% of the design time.
