Yeah, I think that's what he means by inconsistent fitments.

Lax quality control will do that.

A lot of times you don't pay more for the design, but for the QC process.

I think helix and Titek are both very usable parts. Now, you have to find the right one, if you're saying that the parts are sometimes good/sometimes bad, then yeah, i feel you on that. But as long as you know what you're looking for, i think helix or titek could not only save you money, but can be a good quality item as well.
That's cool, but how many up pipes, down pipes, exhausts have you installed?

5 exhaust (none helix), 9 downpipes (all helix, cept 1 titek), and 4 up pipes (all helix, one greddy, I couldn't change the mother ****ers mind, I charged him double for install).

Haven't had one helix part fail, there was one guy who brought me one and I had him find someone to trade with before I installed it...

gruppe-s headers are/were ****ty.

I was pretty much anti gruppe-s anything, cept for helix. New helix is kinda ****ty, but older helix exhaust stuff was great.

and by no means am I saying that I'm any better than Paul, not saying I could install better/faster/etc, I don't have nearly as much knowledge.

But I will argue that I've seen/worked with some good helix stuff, and have only heard of helix things failing, never experienced it first hand.

The thing is, I need to hear the setup before I'm going to go with anything (even a Youtube video or audio clip works for me), that's the main reason I'm looking into ryball's Helix setup...

Are there any good web sites where they demonstrate different exhaust setups (other than searching for specific exhausts on Youtube)?
