I could use some muscle... Volenteers? (install)
Finally got my transmission repaired, now I need a hand getting it installed and the usual suspects are all busy this weekend, so I figure I'll as and see if anyone wants to give me a hand.
I can reconnect everything myself easy enough, but physically putting the transmission back in i need help from at least 1-2 people so I don't kill myself
I'll offer free food and drink to anyone that wants to help And I would also volenteer into help with any installs of yours in the future...
As for the time... Tonight, tommorow, sunday, doesnt matter, just want to get it done.

Well the install went good, everything seemed to go right...
Then I took it for its first test drive, did really good (felt nice) until I tried to take it out of 5th gear at the stoplight on kirby/old auburn... Wouldnt go back into any gear other than 5th I checked everything, and my first guess is the shift fork which means it was fubared by whomever rebuilt my tranny... Had to get it towed too, woopie (thank god I have AAA)

So it turns out the transmission is a 2000 transmission, with a '97 rear tail housing... When the 5th gear from a 2000 was installed it had a clearance problem that caused the shift selector to pop out, which caused my problem... Its fixed now so thats good at least.
