I really like the features of the AP and I would be able to take advantage of a race gas tune for the track, but I've spent so much on the ECUtek already I can't justify it.

Have no fear.

Now that Cobb has finally caught ECUtek, ECUtek can't be far behind.

Exactly, Nick. We want to be able to support our customers on whatever platform they choose; both definitely have their strengths. This is definitely a supplement to our existing services and long history with EcuTek tuning.

To clarify, Ecutek has never had true dual maps, there was just a boost level switch. The two profiles ixisted on the bugeyes, but Subaru removed the dual profiles on the 04's, so there's nothing Ecutek can can do. We're still eagerly awaiting the Ecutek user-tune/map switching solution, but the Cobb setup is a great product that we're happy to offer to those who need map switching now.
