if you look at the progression it took more than a year. It took a couple of years for him to look like bluto. You can't erase him from the record books, that sounds like something Helladumb would say.

 

McGwire will, Sosa might, Palmeiro probably not. He'll make it awful hard for a lot of guys after him to get in- 3,000 hits and 500 homers is a pretty limited group of players. And yeah, if Bonds wasn't such a dickhole to the media, they might not try to crucify him so often... personally, I don't hold the fact that he doesn't like people who treat him like dirt because he doesn't like them against him. Heh, say that 3 times fast. Anyways, he's not the martyr he thinks he is, and he's not the demon much of the media thinks he is.

 

In the one offseason after McGwire and Sosa had the home run race he put on something like 20 pounds of solid muscle. People that aren't juicing don't do that. Sure he got even bigger after that, but that initial bulk up was mind blowing. And the head size thing is even more amazing, but then again that is one of the effects of HGH.
