haha, this thread seems lonely.. i need help with my intake silencer. i searched but found nothing yet. Can i just take the silencer out? and isnt the silencer just that annoying white tube thing?

The intake silencer is also known as the Snorkus and it's that giant bulge hiding in your fender. See intake FAQ from NASIOC:
