at my old sticker shop, we would just put the person on hold and pick it back up answering like another department
"hello shipping.. hmm.. let me see who I can get to help you with this"
"accounts payable ... so who transfered you here ? ok.. one second"
"human resources ... umm.. thats not our department .. one second ..."
"facilities ... wait.. is your toilet backed up.. oh.. ok well I cannot help you with that.. one second.."
"shipping.. bud speaking .."
etc etc until they hang up.. good fun

I have a HP. it has not given me too many problems.
other then it some how lost internet exployer the day i got my cable installed. that was not too fun.
