Saw the post in the Bay Area forum for a Gun Range meet and I thought it would be a good idea, and since the drive would be pretty far I thought I would see if anyone would be interested in having one in the Sacramento area?

Ranges that I am aware of are:

Cordova Shooting Range
The Gun Room
Sacramento Valley Shooting Center (Folsom Shooting Club)
James Mangan Rifle & Pistol Range

There are probably more out there, but this is all that I know of. Most places will run about $15 a lane.

well i dont know what day works best for everyone... saturdays are usually the best for me, but whenever most of us is available

Well I work M-Th and get off at 330 so really anytime is good, its just trying to get away from the fiance for awhile...

If we get a pretty big turn out you might want to look into Sac Valley just because it can handle a lot of shooters. Plus you are not limited on what caliber you can shoot.

Alright so I am thinking of Monday the 29th, Tuesday the 30th, Wednesday the 1st or Thursday the 2nd...

It will probably be at the gun room in Elk Grove unless someone has any objections to it. Just let me know what day of the week will be best and then we can set a time.

They do have guns there you can rent if you don't have one or would like to try something else.

 

Tuesday or Thursday would be awesome. I have an extra .45 if someone wants to try it out. Also more .45 amo than I'll ever use plus I reload all my own so I can cover .45 amo too. Granted it's a day I can make it.

 

very nice... would love to shot a .45, the range opens at 10am and cost $15 to shoot and gun rentals starting at $10 but you have to use their ammo if you rent there.

As far as time to go, I would prefer day time around 1 or 2. I have to work at 6 that night so I wanna make sure I have enough time to go home and get ready.

Anyone else care to join?
