EDIT - Oh, and the spoiler still doesn't hold a candle to that beast of a thing that comes with the STi or Evo8

i see a white one w/ a hardtop, gunmetal wheels and a roll bar in the mornings coming from the Pville/Camino area...he's got SCCA stickers on the bottom of the fenders so i know he must autoX or track it....it is kinda sleeper until you look thru the back window and see the downbar.
i prolly only noticed it cus i dig MX5's w/ a hardtop...
i just never have gotten into convertables personally...i worked at a shop that had S2000 as a shop car and i would never put the top down...but they finally got the hardtop for it and it was BAD!
miatas are fun cars to drive...but they do lack the HP.

I really want 16" rims. But it's gonna be hard to top the stock 15" ones. As they're only 14lbs. I don't want some cheap 20lbs rims off ebay but I also don't want to spend a million dollars on some 5zigens or something. Probably end up with Rota Attacks or something, or a knockoff as long as they stay around 15lbs.

Dude, rota's rock, I looked at getting so many high dollar rims and I LOVE how the rota SDR's look on my car. Plus, they come in a multitude of colors for the picky.
You know, I'm such an idiot, I was getting the MX5 mixed up with the old MX6 turbo and I was like "boy, that would be an interesting car to drift", such an imbasile (sp?) sometimes.

Actually I'd heard that Miatas aren't really great for drifting due to the short wheelbase, but that's just hearsay I guess.
So far the only mods I've done are KYB AGX, a Racing Beat front sway, Hawk HP+ pads, and a Hard Dog Hardcore 2 roll bar. Miracoulously it works with oth my non-OEM glass window soft top and the factory hardtop I got with the car, when the website says it won't work with either. Lucky me! Coming next spring are Tein Flex, new wheels, probably OZ SLs, Flyin' Miata clutch and flywheel package, and maybe the Racing Beat header for the old 1.8.
Aaron, I'll get pics of the Miata and my "wagon" next time we get decent daylight up here. Looks crappy today and for tomorrow.
