There is a adapter so you could plug in your stock wrx headlights in without cutting anything.

How easy are they to install in a normal WRX? And how much are those going for new?

haha, yeah. The shipping company is silly. I should sue them(:-P) when they pull my WRX off, and show them the shipping bill which lists an STi. lol.

I'm beat. I spent an hour and a half at the Placer County offices this afternoon. It went like this:
* Fill out application at Building Department
* Get application number
* Take plans and application number to Planning Department
* Have Planning Department do a quick overview of plans
* Take plans and application number back to Building Department
* Pay plan check fee to Building Department and turn over plans
* Take application number to Public Works Department
* Take application number to Environmental Health Department
* Go home
Well, actually, my next stop was PG&E's planning department (since it is in Auburn too).
Then I came home and dug up my water main to find the leak. Turns out the pipe wasn't even glued (or at least looked that way) at the coupling on the water company's end. I'm going to give the glue a couple of hours to dry and then we'll see how good a plumber I am.

It looks like I did a good job. No leaks when I turned the water back on.
