Delta Airlines can eat *****........
So, not only did I get SARS on the plane, and have to take a sick day, they lost my luggage.
I can see why, given that we checked in in Salt Lake at 3 PM for 7 PM flight; I didn't give them nearly enough time, though my parent's bags both made it ok, on the same flight.
So I file a claim last night, they say there's another flight from SLC last night, will prolly come in on that flight.
I call the automated systems, each time it says "your bag has been located, call back if you haven't heard anything in 4 hours."
After 18 hours, I call and get a real live person on the line. My bag is currently flying from Ontario, CA, to Salt Lake City, where it will then be put on the same flight I came on last night, back to Sac, at which point I then have to wait 2 hours for them to process and deliver it.
So, let's review.
Travel paths:
Me: SLC-SMF, 1 hour flight.
My bag: SLC-ONT (presumably, who know how many other hops it made)-SLC-SMF, over 24 hours.
So my luggage not only got lost, but redirected back where I came from, all for a 1 hour direct flight. I could have driven there and back and gotten it sooner.
At Delta, we loves us some flying and it be showing like a mother****er!
