Headed to Autowest Subaru to meet up with ericdared81 and discuss ordering an...

Aspen White/Gold STI
-Security upgrade
-Auto dimming mirrors
-Short throw option
-Wheel locks
-No arm rest
-No boost gauge
-Less than 20miles on the odometer
-No front plate drilled.

Anything else I should be concerned with? I know the short throw option and the wheel locks are something that I can do later on, however I would feel better having the shifter being covered under warrantee.

thanks

Nah, it's an STi. There's not much else you need hehe. Why no boost gauge? So is the deal gonna go through?

well.. I don't think the boost guage matches the instrament cluster very well IMHO. I'll probably just go aftermarket later anyways =D

Banks are to blame here, they like to go back on deals which forces the dealership to do the same.. Here is a story: My friend bought a 03 EVO and drove it of the lot. He drove it for a month and 1000 miles. At the end of the month the Dealership called im and told him that they needed the car back because the bank ( golden 1) had all of a sudden decided not to finance him. WTF, you cant give the dealership an appoval code and then go back on it. Well he gave the car back and got his entire down payment back, well he got to drive an evo around for a month for free! not a bad deal, but still those rotten banks. He still wants to get and EVO.
i don't think the dealership or the bank has the option to back out after a month. the way i understand it is: the buyer has 48 hours after taking delivery to change financing, but that's it. the dealer has 7 days to change financing or take the car back.

when they try to do a roll-back, just play major hardball with them. tell them to take their car back and give you yours and whatever $$ you put down. Folsom Lake Ford tried that with my wive's rustang. we basically told them to stuff it, take their mustang back, and wished them good luck selling a used '03 mustang. we left a half hour later with the mustang and no change in the contract.

I agree WRB and Gold looks sexy, however I had a strange feeling I might get tired of looking at the bright blue color every day. Besides, I have yet to see a White/Gold on the street.
