Yeah I messed up on the last one let it go.

I rolled some negative equity in to the purchase of my WRX so I'm too far upside down at this point. I probably won't buy another car until this one is paid off (unless a dealer wants to pay it off for me...*hint hint*)

I'm probably between Hoffa and China, but I'm not rolling any negative equity on to my next purchase, which is why I'm pretty sure I'll have to wait. Unless you have some super finance magic over there, it won't happen. I tried to work with Jerry (I bought my WRX from him, and my mom bought her Miata from him the same night) and he couldn't do anything for me

thanks though. I'm not too sure I'm ready to take on a new loan

I don't like Shingle Springs.
For some reason they never called me when they'd get the Legacy GT in. I even visited in person 3 or 4 times to show how serious I was about buying. But it was always a 1 way communication. So I ended up buying at Santa Cruz instead.

You might have better luck, ... if you manage to get their attention.

sonicsuby, man that sucks. I had a sad story of my own with WRX, but had id solved in 3 days after heated conversation with service manager in his office. He made it look like it is a favor he was doing for me, but I didn't give a **** because final result was I got brand spanking new disk brakes at no expense and got him to shut up about me abusing a bone stock WRX. Was the manager's name at that time Tony? I know that in last 8-9 months Maita’s service manager was changed 2 times at least. Tony was back in 2003, then there was some one else who only lasted a few months or so, and now Darrel Lewis is the new manager. Seemed like a nice guy. I also met Pat Buckley SOA Western Region manager. Both were friendly and helpful. I even got answers to questions regarding mods from Pat. He gave me 2 versions: 1 would I (Pat) do it and 2 what Subaru thinks about it. Darrel also urged to ask for him personally if any issues come up. So far so good, let's hope things will pick up with new management.

Have you gone to Livermore yet?

The only reason I ask is because sometimes when they throw out really low prices it's so they can get you into the dealership then change things around.

Just curious

One good way to check is call them and ask for the correct Out the Door number and say that you need to cut a cashiers check from your bank so you need the exact number.

They won't let you show up with a printed check and then change the numbers.

At least they shouldn't

I just bought my '05 from Autowest two weeks ago. They had 4 STI's on sale for $3500 off MSRP. I got mine for $29,600 with security system and auto dimming mirror. Brand new with 8 miles on the odometer. They had great service and I have no complaints what so ever.
