weeeaaa weeeaaaa!!!!

Ok, so I got pulled over just a bit ago.. about an hour now...for my frickin tint....time to pay the tint tax.
That will teach me to drive out on those country roads..... I was out SR-16, up towards Cache Creek, I didn't know it was up there, I was just out for a sunday drive....anyhow, I was headed south on SR-16, and I was rolling up on a stop sign, and I see a CHP coming towards it as well. I roll down my windows waaay back in anticipation....I only have like 50% in the front, nothing too dark, and 20% in the back. Anyhow, sure enough he turns around after the intersection and pulls me over. BAH. Ok, so how do I deal with this now? and where is a good shop down here to get re-tinted after I get it taken car of? He said the only reason he turned around is because I had my windows down. He made me roll my windows up when he stopped me, and then asked why they were down, to which I replied, "its hot out." :-P I even tried appealing using my military status, but that didn't work..."can I have a warning sir, I am in the Army and my car isn't even going to be in California that much longer anyhow...." He just said "too late, sign here....you'll get your ticket in two to three weeks."
How lame.

blah blah blah, I don't really care to hear from the people that will say "so what, you were breaking the law, and you knew it, blah blah blah." st***thxbye:-)

lol, how many people do you know have a pic of themselves getting pulled over?

I am probably going to get it done where I had it done intially, its a little shop up north called "Clear Impressions" and they did a good job, so....I will just wait until I am up that way again probably, unless I find something better down here.

Kind of odd that he would just pull you over on a hunch about your front windows due to having your windows rolled down. Does this mean if you're running a stock muffler, it's a clue that you've modified your emissions systems, too? j/k Maybe your front windshield tint is what really tipped him off.

I got a ticket for having a green license plate light on my Saturn. Can you say pointless? It was a motorcycle cop nonetheless and on Greenback. I guess he was trying to meet his quota or something...

but the question that immediately arises, is why did you have such a rice mod to your Saturn? Please tell me it was born of necesity, not style. ;-) lol

It's a visor tint. They're legal up to a certain amount of inches from the roofline. Sometimes, that limit is marked on the windshield from the manufacturer.
