Capitol Building

Have any of you wandered around the Capitol building before? I got a chance to Sat during a break at a convention I was attending. Pretty interesting, a lot more simple then I imagined. There are a few museum exhibits, walked by Arnolds office. I'm sure its packed with beaurocrats during the weekdays. I slid down a banister and took some funny pictures here and there. Apparently there is a statue of Columbus as a child in the basement, although I couldn't figure out quite why?

I went when I was in 4th Grade (like ten years ago). Simple is right... its also very similar to the Nation's Capitol as well (I went there 6 years ago)

It's nice sometimes to walk around the capitol at night. There is a cool park around the corner as well. Just watch out for the snipers, hobos, thugs...lol

My buddy got married at the rose garden. There was this crazy that was yelling something about being a strong yellow man (me I assume) and not getting fooled by the white devil (my friend?).

Hilarity ensued soon after we determined he was not going to invite himself to the ceremony.

There WAS a really nice homeless man that sat a ways away and enjoyed the ceremony. He was smiling the whole time and as we walked by after it was through, he said, "That was a beautiful ceremony. Bless you both and have a wonderful life together."

Almost made us all cry.

No hazmat, was a big firefighter memorial going on at the north side of the building and the east park. I must have missed the hazmat, cause the gift shop was open. lol!
