Cal Expo gun shows used to be packed and full of cool exhibits. Now they're weaksauce. Good luck, Mike... hope you find what you're looking for.

I know - it's that stupid group from AZ - McMann Roadrunner. The good independents have left the state for good.

I need to go shopping in Nevada.

I collect knives too and the same goes for them. All the dealers and knife makers steer clear from CA just like the gun dealers. Because of CA's tight automatic and butterfly knife laws most makers and dealers don't even bother offering their legal stuff. Sad part is that a lot of what's offered is meant to be functional art for the discriminating and law-biding collector, not gangbang ****. Can't say I blame any of them. But at least I can still get my hands on any knife via mail. Not so much with guns... Kalifornia FTL.

Egan, save your $$$ & get the parts from a vendor out of Shotgun News.

BTW, The Big Reno Gun Show is the only gunshow around here worth going to.

Back when it was legal to do so, a friend & I bought an AR15 in kit format in Reno.
Had it fully built & function tested by the time we hit the Agri Inspection place in Turkee.

I found *most* of the parts I need through Fulton Armory and Numrich, but I need magazines with the hold opens.

Of course, living in Kalifornia, I am limited to 10 rounders, even though the gun was made in 1943 and came with 15 round magazines.
