i never deposit anything in the atm because i'm afraid it would get lost or something and it would be somewhat hard to prove my deposit. the deposit i made was inside with a teller.

I worked at two different sites and still work at Bank of America. The first site was Proof, where I processed checks, the current site is processing cash at a cash vault.
The employee treatment is almost as bad as a customer of BofA.
I have no significant information to see how your check was lost (however the check passes through many sites before it is actually processed and sent to the big machine to calculate everything, and then from there they have to take the checks from non-bankofamerica and find the store and claim the money) So there are a lot of things that the check passes through. And although I've worked for Bank of America for a year. I still bank with WAMU, cause they haven't messed anything up for me. *knocks on wood*
Every place has its faults. Blows ***** to go through that much trouble. Threaten to bring a lawsuit and I'm sure they'll be kindly enough to figure out your information for you.

I finally got a copy of the cashed check from the company and went into bank of america to finally resolve the issue. After about an hour there, they are now going to send me a form in 5-10 business days which i need to fill out and send back to be reviewed. Then they will transfer the money back into my account and I would need to go back to the bank and get my credit card account re-opened. I wonder if there is anything I can do to get reinbursed for all the bs they made me go through and how long it has taken them????
