haha we only disagree when it comes to tuning methods...aside from that I have no problems with you
btw: we finally got david's car (the black 05 he brought to you in God knows what kind of condition) running right. The tune he had on there was for 850cc injectors and fuel/timing was so ****ed up I scratched my head trying to figure out how it even ran. Sold it to carmax a few months ago and they complimented him on how well it ran...

So because someone says that they think its Ed It must be him? Everyone on this post has something great to say about Paul.. this sounds like the old I-club when everybody use to love Nate till Paul got his shop? Ill say it again EVERYBODY blows motors and there is a possibility for human error in every tune. that dont make one worse than the other.. if the knock sensor was picking up knock then it was audible inside the car and the fault is with the owner of the car.... I have a opinion on db tuned but I keep it to myself and leave him alone. that being said it was wrong to blast Paul without talking to him first but its just as bad to talk about tuner x when he has happy customers also....
only one person tunes my cars and he know he is very very good!!!

Kevin @ AutoHQ explained to me that no matter how well the spray is mixed, the actual spraying into the cylinder is not an equal gradient. Meaning the mix could have more on top in the compression or on bottom, or sides. (more ethanol than gasoline in an area in the cylinder upon detonation)
Kevin has also said he's looked at it with his computer, and the detonations (no matter how it's sprayed into the cylinder) are not consistent enough for safe power, nothing over maybe 10-20hp. He advised me to do other mods and dont play with the spray.
This again comes from an Ex Subaru Mechanic for 10-15years at Carlsen Subaru.

as for the OP you could handled this a bit differently. If your motor is already borked, why get it retuned? I'm sure you just got caught up in the whole heat of the moment. Well good luck with that.
