I'm working on it. I was fully stock ( RE92's ), and this was only my second event (and first in the LGT). Hopefully I'll be better by the end of it all.

I didn't have any problems they the chicane after the indy corners. Then through the whole sweeper. I plowed so many cones there.

I did really well the course up tell the chicane. I really loved the sweeper just before the slallom. It was really fun in my car, once I learned about trottle modilation.

There's an idea, drunk autox. That would be comedy gold, but I'm sure you'd lose 3-4 corner workers through the event.

I drifted about 100 ft of that friggin sweeper...with a Student in the car ...he about pooped himself because we were increasing speed the whole time we were sideways. Not the fastest way around the turn, but a good show none-the-less. I made him put the harnesses on before we took off...when we got out he's like "Now I know why you had me put those on.." hahahaha.

I got down to a 45.5 (+1) on Sunday, 46.4 clean..Eric, Scott and Dean all beat me..I suck.

Yeah, you race like you're drunk even when you're sober.

lol

All I know is that was probably the only time I'll beat you this season...

Consider that we were both on ****ty tires for the TnT... if both of us have crap for tires, we're both limited by our tires. Once we're on new tires, I'll go a bit faster, while you'll go *a lot* faster...

I just wanted to get all the drifting out of my system since it didn't count, so that worked out pretty well.....

Yeah, I expect to gain a bit when I put that new set of RE070's back on...

I'm telling you, it is going to be a very difficult battle this year...

I predict the top 3 positions in street tire will be Subaru's though...And Dean and Tyson should do really well in overall PAX in STX.

What's throttle modulation?

I'd love to check out Auto-X sometime...is there anything like that down in Sacramento where you can get lessons and stuff?

Easing on and off the throttle while in a corner to help keep your car on line and prevent understeer and hopefully the modulation is mild enough so as to not unsettle the weight shift of the car causing you to lose control.

I must agree. I learned something this weekend. I do a lot of Scandavian Flicks in corners without even realizing it. Or maybe thats normal, I don't know.

Hahha...Scott and I were talking about that when you first moved up here...you have a natural tendency to turn out then flick the car, in parking lots, around turns, into driveways, all the time..You're hard core man. I didn't think it would carry over into your autocross driving, but cool.
