Blue tops are deepcycle/long life, but there's also a starting variant, which is what I have. Meant for RV/marine, which happens to work nicely for a car that occasionally has a big stereo going for quite a while, and which will sit for a while at times, especially with 2 other cars around Plus, from what I can gather, yellows and blues are almost identical except for pole layout, and I like the size and connection optins I get with a blue-top with the extra studs. Plus, after the buyout, red-tops got cheap and started losing their reputation for being bombproof, while the yellows and blues seem to still be ok. Will see what happens.
