anyone looking for a car from the 30's to the 70's ?

A gold mine has been unvailed in Betterndorf, Ia. Seems these two good ole boys have been horden away cars from there recker business for about half their lives. Friday and Saturday they are auctioning off about 1200 cars from the 1930's thru the 1970's. They have been untouched for over 20 years. We are talking every make and model. Do yourself a favor and check out www.vanderbrinkauctions.com. Check out their current events page, and then go to the pictures, and then to more pictures. There are coupes, fastbacks, sedans, you name it and it's there. 30 miles from my house my entire life and I never knew it existed.

In a side note of today's top stories, 1200 missing cars had turned up after 20 years.... aparently hippies had a gathering, got high, and forgot where they had parked their cars. If only lo-jack had been around 20 years ago.....

Damn... '67 mustang gt... my dream. Too bad it's rusted out garbage now.

gto's, chargers, t-birds, gansta cars w/suicide doors, impalas, 1970 ford torino gt, a couple of IH scouts (and it looks like a dump truck, too)

What the hell is a 1978 Ford Mini Bird?

I'd be interested in seeing what the "some Datsuns and Toyotas" are.

Here are some interesting ones...
