Unhappy Anyone know a good body shop in the Rocklin or Auburn area?

If I was any dumber I'd be dead. I was on my way to my fathers house coming from work. I was on my merry way down my favorite windy country road, I may have been going a little fast, hit a patch of dirt on the road, and lost it a little. I overcorrected away from the cliff on one side (thank god, I guess) and that spun me into the wall of dirt on the other side. I hadnt been drinking or anything but apparently I was going a little fast.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good body shop around Lincoln in maybe Auburn or Rocklin?

Oh, here are some pics you can poke fun at.

Yeah, I would like to be able to take it somewhere a little further away but I want try and get it fixed myself and not have an insurance claim. That means I have to pay for the towing myself.

I can't offer a whole lot of bodyshop advice, unfortunately; I've had mediocre expereinces with shops in the Placerville area, which doesn't help.

Please let me know if you're going to toss that front bumper skin; I know it's a bit mangled, but we could use it on one of our shop cars if you're not going to reuse it. Not trying to be a vulture; let us know if you need help getting ahold of any parts for the rebuild, as we can get factory stuff as well, for good prices.

I actually already have it pulled off. If the insurance doesnt want to take pictures with it on you can have it. I'm keeping the k4rt3oy fog brackets though. I will let you know.

Also, I was thinking that I may be able to do some of it myself so I may need to get some parts. I will need to see what all is going to be involved. I have the feeling it would be better handled if I were to just let a shop do it. Quicker too.

Thanks.

Well, I got her into the shop. Cooks Collision in Carmichael. I tried to send it to thier Roseville office but they were full so they transfered me to the Carmichael one. They came recommended by a mechanic I was refered to. I will post pics when I get it back.

Aaron, I talked to the body shop and they said that I can have the bumper skin back so if you still want it I will grab it when I go in to visit the car in the ER. I will let you know.
