You know. I think that guy getting arrested in complete bull****.

The last weekend of October me and my friends were driving around the streets of Folsom doing nothing wrong at all. We pull upside of some guys at a light and they start yelling at us. They take a right. Our light stays red for awhile and about 30 seconds later we decide to turn right and head to Wendy's to get something to eat before going home. By time we take the right, we can barely see the taillights of the other cars. As we pull closer to them we can see they are slaming on their brakes almost stopping and formatting a way to block us in. We somehow get around 2 of the cars. 1 still in front of us and tries to block us off at the Target center. We pull in and fly through there being followed the other 2 cars as the other takes the other entrance. We get through all of them. We go down E. Bidwell, flip a ***** and start pulling towards Target once again with all of them on our ***. One of them cuts us off and we crash out front of PetCo. Car is totalled and we can't pull out. All 3 cars stop and about 5-6 guys get out about 22 y/o. They pull our driver out and beat the living sht out of him. Another guy comes to my side and beats the windsheild in and then continues kicking my door in and punching my window. Punches my friend thats in the back in the face a good amount of times and gets me in the temple. One of my friends gets a license plate as these guys are leaving the scene and as they are, they take our keys. Put my friend in the hospital with i think it was 2 broken ribs, a concussion and i think it was a broken sternum. And a totalled car. Cops haven't done ****.

Angry

**** the news. They don't know ****. Here are a few things.

1.)The driver in the red CRX didn't touch the mustang . So, why would he be charged with murder?

2.)His car wasn't black it was red. The one racing the mustang was a black car not a red CRX.

3.)Don't asume anything when you see it on the news.

4.)Even the wife of the mustang driver thought the whole murder charge was rediculous.

Grammer and spelling might be off due to the fact of this whole stupid situation

Because someone is stupid enough to race me and doesn't know the abilities of his car and crashes; I should be responsible? Its not like it was assault or anything. Me and my friends were dilibritly(sp) ran off the road and assaulted but nothing has be done about it. This guy wasn't ran off the road or clipped. HE crashed HIS car. But the cops are ready to make an arrest.

See there was a death involved here and it was a result of racing. Just like if you and a buddy go in to rob a store and he pulls out a gun and kills the clerk you both go down for murder, even though it was not the original plan and you knew nothing about it. You both committed the crime and you both go down for what ever ends up happening.

I believe it's called 'Accomplice Liability'. He was committing an illegal act that had an end result of someone getting killed. The person that died was not an innocent party so that may help him in terms of sentencing but that's about it.

The Second degree charges come into play because his was a present and willing party.

But I personaly think the charges will be lowered to 'Man-3'.

Even the wife of the mustang driver thought the whole murder charge was ridiculous.
I agree, I think they should have charge him with reckless endagerment and street raceing, then supend his license. But the state can press murder charges even if she won't.

If you didn't know he had a gun or you were under the complete assumption it was unloaded there are loop holes to get that lowered.

But how do you prove that? I could see a loop hole for those that did not even know the robbery was going to happen, but if you participate in the hold up you should fry just the same.
