30,000 Mile Maintenance Service at the Dealer?

I posted this on the Bay Area forum a couple of days ago and got some good advice - most said have LIC Motorsports in Novato do it. Seeing as how I'm Stockton, I'm really in between the Sac/Bay Area. So I thought I'd post it here too. Any advice, opinions are welcomed!

Just wanted everyone's opinion on this...

Do you all think it's worth it to have Subaru do the 30,000 mile checkup on my WRX? They do a lot of things but the big thing that bothers me is the $600 price tag that comes with the checkup.

Has anyone here gotten it done on their car? And if so, did you think it was worth it?

I wouldn't have a Subaru dealer do it. And, truthfully, Subaru Specialists here in Sac is cheaper even than the prices LIC'd just posted today. I'd have to find my invoice, but my 30k with all OEM parts and shockproof lite in the transmission and diff was < $400.

I got mine done at Maita. $275 baby. Look at different dealerships because prices will vary.

If you want a good 30k service that is closer to you then LIC, bring it to Subaru Specialists in Sacramento. They'll do you good.

Maita for $275? Was that with a coupon or is that regular price? That's pretty good considering it's like $600 at Livermore.

Right now I really like the idea of Subaru Specialists doing it.

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out right now.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm still under warranty. Does that matter?
