I felt bad for the EVO guy - he blew a brake line and had to get hauled home.

Yeah. SS brake line. Also, my friend's GTI had to get hailed home as well. Blown spindle, damaged brake caliper and rotor. Was running 2:06-2:07 at the time.

Can you tell me more about that GTI ? 2:06s are pretty good lap times

Ya, I let him by after he caught me in traffic and about 3 turns later he was limping out of the esses.

Is that mister gutted interior that was out there that time we went? Has he gotten any faster?

Same dude. He has gotten much faster and was out playing tag with a modified S2000 up until the brake line blew.

I don't know what happened to that SS line - maybe it was rubbing against the coilover and finally wore a hole in the line?
