$9000 to play with

so for whatever reason my insurance company is giving me $9045 for the red impreza. Now should i try and buy the nicest RS possible with the 9k, or should i buy a cheaper L and put money into it. I already have a solid amount of parts to put on whatever i buy so even if i dont mod more it will still be in good shape.

previously i was thinking of buying this white one for $4k. i would have $5k left over to do whatever with...

what would you guys suggest i do? i dont want to see 'downpayment on a gd chassis car'

Buy the stripper in your picture link, and make a sleeper out of it.

Car Info: This aint a bag. It's a shipment.
you should use it as a down payment on an 07 sti.
even though it has some throttle lag issues it will be figured out soon enough.

Hey, dumb asses, he's in college and doesn't have the money for an STI, which is sort of why he's not looking to buy one..

Isnt the APY on CDs around 5% right now?? So if he dumps in say $8K he would make $400 in a year and thats taxable income. Just wondering, since I'm looking into it myself.
