What kind of Impreza?

L?
Outback?
TS?
2.5RS?
WRX Sedan?
WRX Wagon?
STi?

They're all Imprezas made in the years you specified and require just a little different setup from one car to the next. And are MUCH different than a honda because the impreza has MacPherson struts on all four corners.. it's a bit more difficult to set up.

These cars need a little more thought put into the suspension than just throwing springs on the car. Swaybar choice, coilover choice, strut choice all come into play and work together.... especially for auto-x.

To see what I had on my WRX Wagon: http://www.rallydecals.com/kccar

Did you even look beyond the 1st page?
http://redshiftmotorsports.com/SubaruSetup.htm (This is a 2.5RS)

Ps: I hate helping people that can't help themselves by actually looking for the information.. and ask questions expecting the right answer... you don't learn anything that way.

Ie: What's the best spring rate for an Impreza?
To that I answer: 800 front, 300 rear on KYB GR2s.

The WRX requires a set up that is a bit different than the STi as far as spring rates, valving, and swaybars go. When you buy the car, then we'll go on. There's many different philosophies for setting up a WRX... more bar less spring; more spring, less bar; high on both... Some work, some don't. Is this auto-x only, or is it also going to be a daily driver? I ask because you'll need to comprimise the setup to make it decent on the street. (You can see here what I had on my car... http://www.rallydecals.com/kccar/mods.html )

The STi hasn't been proven yet for what works 'best' as there are people still dialing it in on the national level.
