SCCA runoffs touring 2

I've watched several runoff races and I've been wondering if there is a fine , ban or something that is given to the drivers for unnecessary contact and for that matter blocking, I mean if I had a car to enter into touring 2 I wouldn't. what I saw was boarderline reckless. BTW last year was even worse there was a caddillac on its roof inside of the first lap.

Its the Superbowl of Amature Road Racing.!! The adrenaline is really flowing and and all hell breaks loose. These are supposedly the "Cream of the Crop" drivers & cars from all over the country. Can you say "Win at any Cost"
I cant believe there is so little response, on the Subaru Victory. 1st, 2nd, and 6th. that is unheard of, for thier first year in GT2. The EVO also made a great showing!
We Americans may be a little to timid when it comes to touring car racing. One just needs to tune in to British touring cars, German TC, Australian V8 Supercars, and the ultimate in carnage, the Japanese TC series. All of these series make our guys look like gentleman racers. I am not condoning some of the madness I saw in this race, but the camero and firebird guys are very competative, and are not very happy when they are schooled by a 2.5 liter 4 door sedan, from Japan. WOW!!! Talk about piising off the Bow Tie Clan.
What a tribute to the Car, Drivers and Very Young Crew!!!! Great JOB!!! to all who participated.
I have 80K mi on my STI, and was looking around at the S4 and the new Speed 6, but this performance and that of Gary Sheehan and crew, have made my decision easy. A new STI!

Thats been like that for awhile its a link of some sort advertisement, back to your response. I've seen everyone of those racing series you have mentioned but in all of those series drivers are sponsered and the cars are not there own. BTTC they do a have a few privateers. The Sti 's did do a number on the Domestics and those guys driving the Domestics are the ones I'm really talking about. The highest placing "evo" driver was the other Jerk on the track. He block the STi several times.
