i think i've decided that i like the last gen. WRC lancer better. the spoiler on this one is too odd, and the overall look is too rounded and ovoid. the old car has all business looking, with all the straight clean lines. that said, i'm looking forward to seeing the new car in action in Monte Carlo.

I'm VERY glad for Mitsu to be back in it (or for any manufacturer/works teams to be around at all!) but I'll be the first to say it... The new WRC Evo is just HIDEOUS! :ugh: :yak:

I hate those huge wheel wells too. I wonder if there are FIA rules regarding body shape? If this car is the harbinger of things to come - WRC is going to turn into NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car where the cars barely resemble their passenger counterparts. 1 more generation from now and that Evo is going to look like Ivan "Iron Man" Stewart's stadium offroad truck!

I don't like it. Especially the spoiler, but I'll bet they figured that that spoiler configuration gave them the performance they wanted. For Mitsu's sake, I hope it performs well. But for Subaru's sake, I pray the Mitsu performs as it looks...HIDEOUSLY

Just to clarify the OZ Lancer is a big joke. It's the same as the econo car lancer with some sauce poured on to try and make it hot. It has virtually no relation to the EVO at all.
