Got the P0420 code and just had the catalytic converter and O2 sensor replaced under warranty on my 2012 Impreza. Drove from the Bay Area up to Carson City Subaru in NV because they were honest enough to tell me about the 15-year 150,000 mile warranty, while my local dealership wanted me to pay $5,000 for the repairs!
