I've tried 3 different photo classes at the community college level.. They were all pretty poor... 4 years of HS photo from way back and I knew more than the profs.. It's unfortunate.. I'm sure there has to be a good photo program out there run by an actual photographer.. But I never found one..
Speaking of artifacts - just because a lens is old, does not mean it isn't useful..

Thanks.. Well those are all manual focus and exposure action on an ancient lens.. I was experimenting..
Nikon's optics have been superb for a loooooooong time. The older you go on the lens, the more manual action you have to be willing to put up with..

I don't really know what I was going for
I kind of just sat there and touched up all the beauty marks, smoothed out the skin and then lightened up the circles under the eyes. Doesn't look too over the top does it?
