The one with the girl from texas is good

Others (Rick Sammon) I haven't really liked their styles, or like Barbie Cantrell (sp?) I like what she is saying, but it is a very specific course, so I'll have to get to it later.

I really hope they are able to expand their catalog in 2012, and I hope they can add more in the graphic design department rather than just application tutorial.
I watch the free replay the day of. Some just suck so I turn them off.

Yeah for $650 I'd want to work with Chase Jarvis or Ryan Brenizer.

Who is the girl from Texas? I learned about the company last weekend, at the start of the Rick Sammon workshop, but I wasn't really digging his style. Zack seems to speak to me though, and I'll be trying to watch the Matthew Jordan Smith one next month, since he shots with an a900

So I did an actual shoot with today with a friend and I just couldn't get his positioning and the angle of his head right. This was tougher than I thought. Positioning women is a lot easier than men. Tips please?

I have this: http://mattbasile.net/storage/pg2.pdf

However, it shows you what to do, rather than telling you why. If you do a google search and you'll find tips on how to angle the shoulders, place the hands, tilt the head, and why. Why is always the important thing for me.

I think as male photographers it is easier to pose women because we're more comfortable looking at their bodies, and we do it often.

Yeah I looked it up with how they should stand and angle their shoulders. Those pics made me chuckle a bit but I can see me printing them out and bringing it as a reference.

Some are good, some are cheesy, some are slightly pornographic

I just have the PDF saved on my iPhone, and obviously hosted on my server too.

Eh, I'm more concerned with the final shot than the angle of my wrist when shooting.

That being said, I'm debating getting one before the December show although I do need to get an external power pack for the speedlight before that too.
