Angry Tacoma Subaru rant / warning

I'd like to share this so others might avoid having it happen to them.
So I take our 04 WRX wagon in for an oil change to Titus Subaru. First of all, when it was done, I noticed that they didn't wash it and then I figured out why. Someone had put a nice ding in the door. I park in a secure garage and am very mindfull of our car, where I park etc. etc. We only have 12k on it and we got it in 03. I called them and told them about it. It's clear that it happened at the dealership because it disturbed the dust at the dings and it wasn't there before. Anyway, naturally they said they didn't do it. They said they just missed it on the inspection. Learn from my mistake. Always take pictures of your car before taking it in for anything. At least then you have some hard evidence should you ever need it. We got a good deal on the car from them when we bought it, but I'm a little bit fried about this. Just a heads up.

Thanks, hope this helps someone.

Thanks, xdeftonesxrs. Can't hurt to try. Better than just being a crybaby, right?

Thats just why I have never had my car back to the dealer since I bought it. I do everything myself.

Now that I think about it....I think the dealer I used to get my oil changed at before I moved effed up my paint when the washed my car. My hood has all these long scratches/smudges back and forth on it. I'm pretty sure the dealership I went to would have fixed the problem if I had brought it up though. It's no big deal anyway, that hood is toast and I have a cf hood sitting in my garage.

If SOA isn't any help, call the BBB or the Attorney General. Most places will settle if you even threaten to call the AG, or that's what I've heard.

Other than finding another dealership in our area where we'll be doing any future businesss nothing juicy. Stange thing, I haven't recieved one of those surveys yet in the mail, go figure!
It's all fine, busy creating "masterpieces" jking. So I can afford cool suby parts ya know? Now I figure I'll need to get those L'aunsport wide body flairs to cover it up right? Actually it's not that bad just p's a guy off a smidge.

Have a good one, M

I've herad good things about Puyallup. There is a guy named Jake who works at Auburn. He's another enthusiast like us and I always have him work on my car.

Renton Subaru damages thier cars in the lot, then fixes them without letting you know there is damage. I witnessed a speedometer go from over 400 miles then the very next day it was down under 50. The manager is not trustable either. If he dosent like something he just kicks you out and will not refund your deposit. Beware of Renton Subaru.

I was in the prep area and noticed a coffee mug on the hood of a new car. The guy was buffing/ rubbing on the fender and the mug was moving around on the hood putting scratch rings in the paint. When I went into the show room to wait for the manager I noticed that several of the cars had the same scratch rings on the hood from what looked like the same coffee mug.

After they damaged my new car (3 foot long scrape on the side) then tried to cover it up without letting me know. The manager kicked me out of the place when I found out about it and wanted more money off the sale. As I was leaving without my deposit I witnessed another lotboy back into another new car in the lot pushing in the quarter panel. In the end I did get my money back after contacting the dealer investigator.

I ended up getting my car at Auburn Subaru for 400 over invoice, about 100 less than Rentons offer. Closed the deal on the phone and after 20 min in the office I drove away with my new car no hassels at all.
