Ok so I just get my car back from the shop. They need it back in three days to repaint the door. When the glass broke it chipped the paint on the door.

The shop just called me and notifies me that the horn and headlight celonides are missing. The horn worked two days ago. apparently the punk is prepping my car for theft.

What... that sucks man. Why in the world would anyone steal those two things. To disable an alarm... so it doesn't have the horn blast and lights blink? Then why not just deactivate the alarm? Well in any case good luck in remedying this prob. Peace ~Erick

Yeah Ive heard about stuff like this before. Evidently, TSR in Bellevue has done this type of stuff to a few people. They've gotten adresses from people when they do work on their car, and then go to their house to steal the car, strip it bare, and then they ditched them in North Bend and Skyway. That is just speculation though, it wasnt proven. But its still scary, you just gotta be careful who you take your car to.

The horn worked when I left the shop. I do not think that it is the shop. This theif (from what I can tell) opened my hood, removed the hood and headlight relays (thus disabling the alarm) and closed the hood and walked off. I took my car back to the shop to get the door repainted and the person at the shop noticed that when the alarm went off there was no horn. He did some investigating and found the relays missing.

I ended up getting a garage at the complex that I live in. Immediately disabled the keyed switch so only the remote will work. If there are any further issues I will move.

As far as I know, nothing ever happened to TSR because of the allegations. And don't quote me on the story, but it happened to a friend of a really good friend of mine, so I heard it second hand. But personally, if its anything less than third or fourth hand, Im gonna believe it, so Ive never gone back there. Plus, they're just rude people anyway. I honestly feel like any time I've gone in there that I', not welcome cuz I'm white or something, but maybe its just me.

And lwndart, that really sucks man. That kind of stuff would keep me up at night. Good luck to ya though, theives suck!

And BTW, I was at sharper image the other day and saw this presonal video surveilance system for $200. It cam with a wireless camra and a mini tv. If I wasnt renting a garage @ my apts, I would buy one of those, sit the camera on my dash evry night, and hook up a vcr to the tv to record it! Sounds a little insane maybe, but at least that way if someone messed with my car, I would know who!
