I hate how old I feel after getting up on water-skis for the first time in 10 years. I made about a minute-long run in some chop and just could no hold on any longer.

I can't type any more... I need advil and a lie-down.

I hate pulling out all the ski gear and setting up only to have ^^^see above^^^^ wuss out after a 50 yard run.

I hate to say I was up a BIT longer than that... it was just the LAST 50 YARDS over some other boat's wake that made my arms say "We Hate This!"

It is hotter than a monkeys pit and I can't take the waverunner out cause it doesn't have insurance yet. GRRR.

I hate "zero wieght bearing" for 12 weeks, looking forward to the next ortho appointment and getting the okay to use my ankle again... only to find out, crutches for at least 4 more weeks!

Oh... and on the subject of heat and water... I hate that Seattle only has 2 outdoor public pools, the fact that I haven't afforded my own yet, and that the thought of considering the pee to h20 ratio at the pool on a hot summer evening is VERY SCARY.
