New to Portland...Got a Question.
Hello all. Just moved here and was wondering what the preferred dealerships are. Also if there are some good mechanics in the Portland area that people have used and like.
The Suby's clutch is making some odd sounds.
Thanks for the help,
Bryan

Carr and Wentworth are the two major Subaru Dealers in town,
I worked for Wentworth for 7 years and now have my own shop close-in SE Portland.
Call me during business hours 9-4

Are you the same Sean that worked in the service department?
Where in SE are you located?
Thanks,
Paul

I don't want to compete with Sean, but if you are in the Beaverton area...Outback Automotive behind Carr...does a bunch of work on Subies..really nice guy by the name of Jeff Jones...
503-626-4088 I actually went to him before I had a Subaru..lol

Thanks Sean,
I will have to stop in during my lunch break one day next week... thanks for the info Rallychic... in general, I turn my own wrench on the car though... leaves more money for upgrades and plenty of scars to show for it.

I got a good deal on my 2000 RS over at Gresham Subaru, but I never used their service department.
The sales staff at Dick Hannah in Vancouver have been fairly consistent slimeballs in my dealings with them, but I haven't had any problems with their service folks.

Ger-Brock
If you are on the East Side or near swan island I always suggest Ger-Brock, they are a small shop and they know subies very well.
