New to board!

Hey guys! I've had my 96' Impreza for awhile now, but I just found this board. I live in Edmonds, WA, and am 17 yrs old. I've been looking for a new exhaust setup for my ride and found that most good (non ricey) exhaust are quite expensive. I've also read that a stock WRX exhaust is a nice solution...anyone have one lying around?! I'll check out Aaron's Wrecking down in W. Seattle and see, but I'm not sure if he gets Rex's there. Anyway, I'm glad I found the board and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Glad you could find us. I'm not too sure if a wrx exhuast bolts up. Do a search to find out.

It bolts up but you need to alter at least one of the mounting points (cut/weld)

I am also new to this board. I don't have a Subaru yet, but am in the process of getting a 04 WRX wagon.

If you search the forsale classifieds forum I am sure you can find something local. There are a lot of non-expensive exhaust options.

imprezive22, I have a 96 also, I have been moding it for about two years now. Pretty happy with how it’s turning out. I also don't think the WRX or RS exhausts bolts up. I think you will have to either have to weld a new muffler to your existing pipe or have a new mid pipe fabricated. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Do you have a 2.2 or 1.8?
