Part XIV: Accept No Substitutes
This customer car has been an ongoing project of ours for a number of months, and has finally come to fruition. It is a purpose-built race car, with everything chosen for functionality rather than simple aesthetics. At first glance, the Ings +1 body kit, SYMS wide front fenders, and Rotora Dry Carbon spoiler plant the car on the ground lap after lap. Sticking the car to the ground are meaty Pirelli 10-inch wide slicks, wrapped around extremely light weight SSR Comps and a StopTech big brake kit. Under the hood is a plethora of power mods, consisting of a World One-spec Stage 2 shortblock, forged pistons, FP Green turbo, APS DR725 FMIC, Fujitsubo equal length header with a World One-spec external wastegate/downpipe combo, and a JIC full titanium catback, all working together in harmony thanks to a Hydra EMS standalone. In addition, a full carbon fiber driveshaft helps transmit the power to the rear wheels.
Cusco Zero2Rs along with Hotchkis sway bars provided the footing, while a Seibon carbon fiber hood, trunk lid, and front and rear doors help keep the weight down. These doors are crazy light compared to the stock ones. On the interior is a full JDM v9 Spec C RA interior, with Sparco buckets, a full Autopower roll cage, and Defi gauges. We're excited to see what kind of numbers this car tears through at the track!

Great thread Armin! I really enjoyed looking over all the cars. How is Garret doing? Last time I talked to him was at the Subaru track day in buttonwillow when he gave me a ride in "As good as it gets". I will never forget about that, that STI is badass!
