thinking about joining the subaru scene...
So I've been big into volkswagens for the past 2 years but now thinking about moving on to subarus. My brother is moving to california in 2 weeks and is offering to sell me his 2002 WRX. Just wanted to say hey and share a few pictures of the old and probaly the new..

Whats on the car and how many miles does it have? I think it's risky buying a car from family incase something goes wrong. Ask yourself if you'd buy a car in its condition from someone you'd never met before.
nice lookin bugeye though, and I love that pic of the VW...gives me ideas

car has about 55,000 miles..mostly highway because my brother drove it to and from school in VT. stage 2 turbo upgrade with the hks turboback exhaust, intake, and a few other things. has been the most reliable car in the house so far. only thing that is starting to become a problem is the clutch but my brothers putting a new centerforce clutch in before he sells it.

Did he get it tuned after the mods? Also, has he raced it? Family or not, I'd be weary about a modded car thats been raced. I know all the stuff I've done to my car, and I wouldnt want to buy one thats gone through all that

Yeah it was tuned after all the mods, which were all professionally done. never been raced, he babied the car since 26k miles
